From July 19 to July 27, get ready for an unforgettable Italian summer camp in Policoro, Basilicata—set in an incredible beachfront location where the sea is literally steps away. Between training, beach days, and full-on summer vibes, we’ll also explore some of southern Italy’s most iconic spots: Matera, Pompei, and Polignano a Mare. Sun, sport, culture, and memories—this is the ultimate Italy experience.

THE AREA
POLICORO, BASILICATA
This summer, we’re heading to Policoro—one of southern Italy’s best-kept secrets, where the Ionian Sea meets golden beaches, pine forests, and wide-open sunshine. Set on the coast of Basilicata, Policoro is the kind of place that instantly slows you down in the best way: warm water, easy coastal vibes, and that perfect mix of nature and town life that makes every day feel like a postcard.
And then there’s Basilicata—authentic, unspoiled, and proudly different. Tucked between Puglia and Calabria, it’s a region of dramatic landscapes, ancient history, and real Italian culture you don’t have to “tourist” your way through. From coastal dunes and countryside to hilltop villages and incredible food, Basilicata is pure Italy—quietly spectacular.

THE RESORT
TORRE DEL FARO RESORT
The resort spans a large green area with a lush pine forest and features an Olympic swimming pool for adults, two children's pools, an amphitheater, an indoor and outdoor restaurant, a bar by the pools, Wi-Fi in common areas, parking, a first aid station, a pharmacy, sports facilities (Tennis, Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Beach Volleyball, Archery) and a SPA - Wellness Center.
The private beach, with fine white sand and crystal-clear waters, is about 600 meters away and can be reached by a walk through the cool pine forest or by the ecological shuttle service provided by the facility. The exclusive-use beach is equipped with umbrellas and chairs, beach volleyball courts, and all of this is included in the registration fee.
A medical center is also available for 24/7 assistance, along with an administrative office for all the campers.

ACTIVITIES
The technical work provided during Wave Italy is customized to the relevant level (Beginner, Competitive, Master) and includes in-depth workout sessions at the individual and team level, as well as individualized lesson plans taught by our great champions and coaches.
During the Camp, there will be organized tournaments, with awards and prizes to the athletes who will show their skills on the courts (technical awards) as well as outside (special awards and mentions).
At the end of every edition, the "All-Star Game Night" will be the official game of the Camp where the best players will compete along with the guest coaches and champions. A parent-offspring game will also be part of the same event, and it usually constitutes a unique and memorable moment for families.
FREE TIME
After the workouts the athletes will be able to enjoy relaxing and entertaining moments at the beach or by the pool, always monitored by the staff to ensure their safety.
Every night the staff will offer an organized entertainment event or a short trip to interesting locations in the surroundings.

Wave Italy offers 2 different levels of volleyball programs, based on the age of the campers and their goals (more volleyball-oriented or more balanced between side activities and volleyball).
