Q: What ages are the program for?

A: Miami Wave programs are offered to campers entering K through 10th Grade. Please note that some programs are only offered to certain ages/grades.

Q: How are the campers grouped?

A: Campers are grouped by age and skill level and experience. Campers are carefully evaluated by program directors and staff  and placed in the “best fit” group to ensure a positive, productive, enjoyable outcome.

Q: Can I request a friend be in my group?

A: Yes. Friend and/or team-mate requests can be submitted and can usually be accommodated.

Q: What is the ratio of campers to staff?

A: Ratios can vary slightly depending on the specific program, activity, and age of the campers. It is almost always somewhere between 4 & 8 to 1.

Q: What do I have to bring with me?

A: Miami Wave Volleyball Club will send you an information packet/e-mail before the summer detailing what to bring to camp based upon the program(s) registered for. Kneepads, water bottle, athletic shoes, hat and sunscreen when on the beach volleyball court.

Q: How do I register?

A: Visit our registration page and fill all the forms attached together with your credit card information.

Q: Will beach volleyball camps be cancelled due to rain?

A: No.If it is raining prior to the start of camp session, it will continue as planned.  However, if there is lightning alert or the threat of severe weather prior to camp session start, Camps will be postponed. If lightning alert continues past 1 hour after the starting time, session will be cancelled.

We will do everything in our power to communicate realtime information on weather or unforeseen circumstances with you.

Whenever there is a lightning alert, players will be escorted off the court and taken to the park covered area. 

Any camp sessions cancelled at the beginning of the session due to lighting or thunderstorms, Miami Wave will honor a session credit to the player and it  can be applied to future camp session(s).
