Planning the final school-year season

Compare travel dates with school, graduation and college plans. Ask how the actual roster and tournament calendar support the athlete's remaining goals.

Compare the actual offer

Review the coach, roster size, practice gym and travel commitment of the team offered. White, Aqua, Teal and Black are different season pathways; ask which exist for this age and location.

Use the season page for published fees and the competitive location page for venues. Check independent results using the exact team and season. A club-wide ranking cannot predict the experience on one roster.

Common questions

Does school grade determine club age?

No. Use the official season age chart and date of birth; training program grade requirements are separate.

How do we ask about a 18U place?

Ask Miami Wave how to confirm eligibility, available 18U team options and the evaluation process. Use the season age chart privately; do not include a child's birth date or other sensitive details in an initial inquiry.
