Questions from families

Who is Wave Training for?

Girls in grades 6–10 who are beginners or developing their skills. It is noncompetitive instruction, with two sessions each week and no competitive-team tryout.

Are beginner and intermediate sessions the same?

Grove and North publish separate Black beginner and Aqua intermediate groups. Check the chosen location’s schedule and ask the club which group fits before enrolling.

Where can we join now?

Grove is full as of October 8, 2026. North is scheduled to begin November 2. Contact the club to confirm current North or South availability; a published registration link does not guarantee a place.

What is Wave Training?

Wave Training is a non-competitive instructional program designed specifically for beginners and players with limited experience. Twice a week, athletes develop fundamental skills, build confidence and foster a love for the game.

Structured development

Players master passing, setting, hitting and serving under experienced coaches, while learning formations, rotations and the strategic foundations needed for future volleyball opportunities.

Support without pressure

The program provides an inclusive environment where athletes train with peers at a similar stage, build friendships and improve without the pressure of a competitive travel season.
