Miami Wave Cleans Miami Beach

Miami Wave at Clean Miami Beach is a fun beach cleanup on November 5th. It will be an educational, impactful and fun experience for all.  The Clean Miami Beach team will be set up and ready for all participants at the cleanup location. All cleanup supplies will be provided. Beginning with a brief talk about the ocean, explaining of the tasks, volunteers will be picking up trash for about 60-90 minutes. Trash will be weighed and most interesting finds will be shown. Q+A about trash collected, plastic pollution and sustainable solutions going forward. 

There will be a competition on the weirdest item collected and the most trash collected. 

Date/Time: Saturday, November 5th, - 10am - noon  

Location: 2100 Collins Ave, meet at the blue lifeguard tower 

Dress Code: Miami Wave Practice Shirt, Closed-Toed Shoes Recommended

Parking: Limited metered street parking on site. There is additional parking at a close-by (5-minute walking distance) garage. GPS garage: 334 23rd St, Miami Beach, FL 33139 

Weather: Miami Weather is unpredictable and can change quickly. If heavy rain/storm is predicted the cleanup will be canceled. 

Things to know: - All cleanup supplies will be provided by CleanMB. (gloves, trash bags, buckets, picker) - Please bring water in a reusable water bottle. (no single-use plastic please), CleanMB will provide a refill station - Please wear appropriate sun protection
